The hotel was super welcoming for our family, and we appreciated the spacious room. It was an ideal spot for exploring the nearby Santa Anita Race Track, where my kids loved watching the horses. Plus, they were accommodating with our pet dog!

In my kids’ opinion, they wished breakfast options were included for families to make mornings easier.

Just a balanced option for a fleeting trip in El Monte with extraordinarily good value for money. The hotel had a huge lobby that was well maintained, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Make sure to manage your expectations regarding location. it's a bit far from downtown and the airport.

Unfortunately, there were quite a few hiccups during my stay. The ants in the bathroom were a bit unsettling. by my last day, there were several visible in the corners. It was also disappointing that breakfast costs extra. The attached restaurant had a limited breakfast menu and long wait times, leading to frustration. Additionally, noise from neighboring rooms crept into my peaceful getaway, which stole some of the tranquility.

Target audience beware of the service

The only person that seemed to care was Juan from housekeeping – he gave us extra towels after a long day, when we clearly needed them. The lobby was massive and clean, sort of gave you that ‘maybe this place is decent’ vibe.

But it wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, let’s just say that.

The check-in was super easy, and our room was nice and modern. I liked the cleanliness and comfy beds. They had a decent restaurant, but the breakfast options were more on the Chinese side which totally worked for me! Still, I was pretty bummed they didn’t have a fitness center open, which was a letdown.

I absolutely loved my stay! The cozy room was both spacious and modern, complete with a microwave and mini-fridge, perfect for late-night snacks. The outdoor jacuzzi by the pool was a delightful bonus, making it a relaxing retreat after exploring nearby attractions.
